Here at Ballyroan BNS, we welcome boys from 1st to 6th Class. We are extremely lucky to have a highly committed staff who put the boys’ wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. We aim to create a happy, inclusive environment where every boy is encouraged and guided to reach his potential. Our dedicated staff all have varied interests, passions and talents both curricular and extra-curricular, resulting in the boys receiving a very well- rounded education.

We prioritise values at Ballyroan BNS. We strive to instill core values in our pupils so that they are empowered to make their world a better place for themselves and others. We aim to nurture respect, courage, empathy and kindness in each Ballyroan boy. We guide them to celebrate each other’s victories and to offer each other encouragement and support when needed. We have high expectations for each individual pupil, and we will do all that we can to help them to do their best in every aspect of their education. We work hard to get to know our pupils so that we can implement our rich and varied curriculum in a manner that meets their needs and interests. We are strong believers in active learning, and we take education outdoors whenever we can.

We are grateful to have very supportive parents and a wonderful Parents’ Association. Our parents organise many enjoyable events throughout the year. We all recognise the huge commitment of BBNS parents and the immeasurable difference they make to school life.

In addition to our wonderful staff and parents, it is the boys themselves that make this school such a special place. I feel extremely privileged to be part of their lives as they enjoy rich and varied learning experiences here at Ballyroan
